Main components include a drive, head, middle and boot section, 3-ply belt with buckets. Material to be vertically lifted is fed into the elevator boot, product fills each bucket as the food grade three (3)-ply belt moves past which lifts the product vertically to the top head where it is discharged. Belt tension can be adjusted at the elevator boot while a liner in the head can be changed when required to prolong service life. Access can be made via easily removable inspection hatches. A rotation and belt alignment devices ensure that the unit operates correctly.
